Just a few ideas for some ranks |'3 These take into account Jash's suggestions.
The official rank tags aren't listed, so I'll be assuming they're as follows when I give my possible ones:
Alpha: BMHxA
Beta: BMHxB
Assassin: BMHxAS
Medic: BMHxM
Lead Hunter: BMHxHL
Lead Sentinel: BMHxSL
Hunter: BMHxH
Sentinel: BMHxS
Pup watcher: BMHxPW
Apprentice:
Medic: BMHxMa
Sentinel: BMHxSa
Hunter: BMHxHa
Omega: BMHxO
Secondary Alpha - BMHxAa | A second Alpha appointed by the first. Almost equal in rank and control except for the inability to demote the first Alpha.
[MODIFIED] Beta - BMHxB | Second in command, deals with most minor issues in the pack, supports and provides a second opinion to the Alpha. Will not succeed them in their passing.
Secondary Beta - BMHxBb | A second Beta appointed by the first. Almost equal in rank and control except for the inability to demote the first Beta.
Scion - BMHxSO | ("sai-uhn" if you were wondering) Scions are those selected to succeed either the Beta or Alpha in their passing. Scions can also challenge the Alpha or Beta for their rank at any point as long as both are in full health (a medic will evaluate both prior to the challenge.) The loser is at the mercy of the winner's judgment. On their own they serve and rank as a general third in command, and may have a secondary job, such as hunting.
Bane - BMHxMB | A specialist medic that focuses on poisonous herbs before beneficial ones, ranked equal to a medic.
Guard - BMHxG | A wolf older than two years that hasn't pursued any kind of career (hunting, medicine, etc) yet. Tasked with staying at and guarding the camp, and keeping track of those who come and go and the general happenings. Ranked equal to Pup watcher
Yearling - BMHxY | A wolf younger than two years that hasn't pursued any kind of apprenticeship. Ranked below apprentice.
Pup - BMHxP | A wolf younger than one year. Ranked equal to yearling.
Serf - BMHxSe | A wolf ranked slightly over an omega. A servant, usually a former prisoner/omega, that's formally owned by a wolf in the pack. Ordered by their owner or anyone ranked higher than their owner. Generally disrespected or ignored and will be disciplined if they act out, but shouldn't be too extensively abused.
Martyr - BMHxPm | A different kind of prisoner. Martyrs are to be ultimately executed, but not quickly. Martyrs usually go to those medics that want them so they may be tested on. Martyrs may not speak unless spoken to, and rank below every single non-martyr wolf in the pack. Broken bones are a common sight in martyrs, usually the feet or jaw, and they might even have their senses destroyed.
